Autogas is typically at least 50 percent cheaper than other automotive fuels, meaning you will save money at the pump from day one. For example if over the course of a year Autogas averaged 52 cents per litre, while unleaded petrol averaged $1.19 per litre, a Holden Commodore driver traveling 23,000 kilometres a year on Autogas would save $1,324 – the equivalent of $25 per week.
